- Changed behaviors – Acting in ways that seem very uncharacteristic.
- Significant functional declines – Grades dropping in school, poor work performance.
How the ENGAGE Program helps:
The ENGAGE Program provides an evidence-based model of a Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) approach in treating psychosis and supporting individuals served to achieve their highest level of potential and satisfaction in their unique recovery journey. This is accomplished through a team of professionals consisting of a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse, team lead, therapist, services coordination, supported education/employment services and peer support.
Expected Outcomes:
- Higher levels of treatment adherence meaning lower risk of relapse.
- Reduced disruptions to work or school attendance.
- Retention of social skills and supports.
- Decreased need for hospitalizations.
